This week we have picked our favourite apps to help your physical and mental wellbeing. As we all navigate through this strange and uncertain time, it is so important to look after yourself. We’d also recommend trying new things, maybe you haven’t meditated before or done yoga, now is your time to explore the world of wellness. 1. Calm Calm has a simple motto - Sleep more. Stress less. Live better. They focus on meditation, sleep stories and relaxation methods. Whilst it is usually available on a subscription basis, they have curated a selection of incredible free resources to help everyone through this tough time. You can find it here. 2. Headspace Headspace has one mission: to improve the health and happiness of the world. They too have made some of their meditations free for everyone. They have a collection in their app called Weathering the Storm, which included meditations, sleep and movement exercises. You can find it here. 3. ClassPass For those of you who might have ClassPass, they are kindly pausing billing on everyone’s memberships, however, they have an array of online home workouts that you can follow - everything from barre to yoga to hiit.You can find it here. 4. Deliciously Ella The perfect combination of plant based recipes and yoga videos. The Deliciously Ella app has over 400 healthy, easy to make, plant-based recipes. There is also a wellness section with meditation and 40+ yoga videos ranging from 10-40 minutes with beginner’s videos to help anyone new to the practice, more advanced classes for those wishing to progress, and a wide range of morning and evening practices to help you start and end your day.
